THE BEST FOR LAST

Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding. Jesus’ mother was there also. Near the end of the banquet, they run out of wine. After Jesus has the servants fill the water pots to the rim, He tells the servants to take a portion to the water, now wine, to the master of the feast. That man notices a change in social custom, a new way, something different has come. The host says, “You saved the best wine until last.” The miracle of turning the water into wine demonstrates that the best way to live, the best social order, the best life is now come into the world through Jesus the Lord.
