Our Story

Back in December of 2013 a small group of six devoted followers of Jesus embarked on a journey to see what God could do when people who loved him followed him. The desire to see a church that was generous to those in need and realizing that the greatest needs were yet to be discovered became a value that drove us and attracted like-minded people.  In a rented space that soon expanded to two rented spaces we began to reach a community that was far from God. It was the beginning of a journey that continues to today,

The Bible teaches that the way we live in the world influences people to consider who God is. In Matthew 5:16 Jesus teaches, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."   Peter (1Peter 2:11-12) also encourages us to live as honorable citizens, that because of our good works, made possible by godly character, those who see those works will glorify God when He visits them.  So, we teach and learn to live a life of godly character so we might influence others to seek and glorify God. 

In order to accomplish our goal, it will take focus on taking "every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."  We live in a culture that rejects God and His purposes demanding we remember His incredible love for us as He sacrificed himself exhibiting the greatest love ever known and endeavoring to do the same.
