Putting God's Kingdom First: Needs

Why do we have needs? And how do we pray for the needs we have? Throughout the gospels and the epistles written to the churches the majority of needs were a result of affliction because of faith. However. In all those afflictions the gospel flourished. So given this observation what should be our response when ministering to those who are in affliction? Our perspective should be to add them to our prayer list through a focus on the kingdom needs and God’s plan for our lives.
