“God Knows, God is Near”
Imagine for a moment Hagar has been living with Sarah and Abraham, and they have been discussing the promises of God. And they soon involve Hagar in trying to bring an heir into this world. So, Hagar realizes what has happened and she is not happy with Sarah and she gets sent away into the wilderness. All seems lost, no hope, no good options, then she is found by the Lord. Not that from that time on life is a rosy picnic, but it sure is easier knowing that God sees her everywhere she goes. He is near, and He knows what is happening.
