The Salvation of Job: Job 19

The story of Job is about as deep, complex, and wonderful as any story in the Bible. Job at one point in his life had it all. Job had family, friends, wealth, social status, he was a community leader and sought to be righteous before God. There was one thing He lacked. Job lacked a real relationship with God. Job figured he knew God since he had so much to be proud of, but God showed Job that He desires a personal relationship that is not defined by worldly things. God wants a relationship built on faith and love. God wants a commitment of the heart. At that point Job realizes, “I know my Redeemer lives.”
