FINDING RIGHTEOUSNESS

When we consider Job we almost always think about his trials and his loss. Of course, the story begins there but it unfolds and takes on a subject that many if not all of us deal with. That is in the right circumstances we can find ourselves contending with God about the definition of righteousness. When we try and define righteousness it significantly diminishes all that Jesus did as the only remedy for sin when He died on the cross. It is important for us to remember this about Jesus and about ourselves so when our trials come, we approach God with the right attitude concerning the grace which have received.
