Discipleship: Tracking the Cost

Throughout Jesus’ ministry He is encouraging us to track and pay attention to our faith. We should always take time to consider our progress in the faith. Jesus tells us in Luke to “count the cost” to pick up our cross and follow Him. It is a serious matter that needs reconciled if we can say our life with Jesus now is the same as it was without Him before. To be frank about it, that is not possible. We must count the cost; we must be able to track that which we have given up to be in closer communion with Christ. To know Him and to walk with Him is to consider everything else as the cost of putting Him first in our lives. We should “Track the Cost”
