KNOWING GOD AS FATHER

In John 11 we have the message of Jesus, disciples, Lazarus, and Mary and Martha. Jesus uses this time to further teach and revel Himself as the Son of God, that they might believe and see the glory of God. When we observe these events, we see that Jesus asks questions of Martha and it reveals a process in which she shows us she knows the elementary things of faith, but still has spiritual lessons to learn. Jesus teaches that there is life with Him that never ends. He is the Resurrection and the Life and those who believe in Him will never die. Death in this world is scary, but life in Christ is has defeated death. In Christ we have eternal life.
