LOVE TO BE ONE

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Love to be one

Jesus and the Father are One. They are one in thought, character, devotion, faithfulness, and in the choices they make. Jesus is praying that He wants us to be one with Him in the same ways. We usually sum this up be phrasing His desire for us that we are to love Him as He loved us. In this way we should also love one another. To love Him and one another is to live in this world reflecting the character and nature of the Father. This reveals to the world that Gods power is indwelling. That God is God, and He sent His Son. That God is truly at work in our lives to make us a new creation. That is an incredible thing that is happening in the believer’s life. What a great fellowship.
